The Parish of St. Brelade would like to welcome everyone to come along and enjoy the official lighting up of St. Aubin's on Saturday, 5th December 2015.
Starting at 12.00 noon there will be many stalls both inside and outside the Parish Hall, selling an array of Christmas goodies for all the family and for their friends.
There is to be entertainment throughout the afternoon, including both La Moye and Mont Nicole School Choirs singing at various times and Les Quennevais School Steel Band, who will be opening the event at 12.00 noon, will be followed by local band "Run for Cover" and the "Jersey Lillies" who will also provide entertainment throughout the event.
There will also be various forms of entertainment especially for children including a bouncy castle, face painting and various other activities organised by the St. Brelade's Youth Project and Pathway.
Adults can take part in taster games of Petanque on the terrain adjacent the former NatWest Bank Building as well as strolling round the stalls buying some great Christmas gifts and enjoying winter fayre provided by local hotels and restaurants who will once again be offering their versions of Jersey Bean Crock, various soups, including Conger Soup, as well as Mulled Wine and Mince Pies for people to sample - and to buy.
Santa will be visiting St. Aubin courtesy of the Jersey Round Table at 4.00pm. A firm favourite with children.
