Tucked away down a leafy lane just off Route des Genets, Reg’s Garden at Badgers Holt has worked its magic throughout the year. Entrance to the garden is purely by donation to BBC’s Children in Need. Reg Langlois, was delighted to hand over a cheque to BBC Radio Jersey for £3,250 in addition to the £5,000 he has already donated to the charity during the course of the year
Reg’s vision of nearly 20 years has almost come to fruition with the construction of a new outdoor amphitheatre which was completed in May 2007; a facility which has proved popular for a wide range of activities from poetry reading and childrens music, to ‘Songs of Praise’ events which have become a regular feature.
