Reg’s Garden Theatre at Badgers Holt, Route des Genets opened in early July. According to the people holding events there since, it’s a great success!
Amongst the most notable: Mont Nicolle Junior School’s end end of term concert; a birthday party with singing and dancing, Polish, Jewish and English music, and a Portuguese evening with children telling stories and singing in their own language.
Reg Langlois added: “What has surprised me the most is the folk singing and poetry reading evenings when there are people sitting in the open theatre or walking around the garden - it is so magical. We also have ongoing events like Songs of Praise, with praise certainly going to Rose Helie the organiser. The next Songs of Praise is planned for 2nd September 2007 at 5pm, an event I am much looking forward to”
Reg also told La Baguette that he is hoping to hold Tea Dances and Ballroom Dances in his Garden Theatre and would like to hear from anyone interested in running them to raise funds for their own charity.
