Following the acceptance by the States of Deputy Sarah Ferguson’s proposal to conduct a feasibility study to address key issues affecting life in St.Aubin, it has been agreed by the Parish of St.Brelade and the Economic Development Minister that a ‘workshop’ be conducted in mid January. The outcome will give direction to the feasibility study agreed in November 2006.
A steering body under the direction of the Improvement Group will invite 60/70 people who have expressed interest in participating, and comprise the various stakeholders to this series of meetings over 3 evenings and 2 Saturdays in January.
The purpose is for the Parish to be able to send out a clear message which has been democratically achieved by bringing together ideas, aspirations and criticisms appertaining to the area so that St.Aubins can be adapted to present day requirements but also have its undisputed character preserved for future generations.
