We are working well on the float and have already started building and harestailing.We are meeting on Wednesday evenings at about 7.00pm if anyone wants to come along and learn.
We have had a jumble sale, and car boot sales are arranged. A Scavenger Hunt is planned for 18th May which is open to everyone. Any jumble or car boot items you wish to donate will be welcome.
This year the float is very special to us as it is dedicated to the memory of Maggie and Mick Vincent who were of such great support to us and the Parish.
We also say a sad ‘au revoir’ to Marie Connor who is leaving the Island but will be back to help with the Battle; great dedication!
The float is still a secret but will be revealed in the next newsletter or to anyone wanting to help.
