The Association’s AGM took place on Saturday 8th March 2008. At the formal meeting the packed Parish Hall re-elected the Committe . The only change was the retirement of Brian and Thelma Heard following years of dedicated service. A delicious meal cooked by Association Chairman Julian Bernstein followed. In early April a group of members travelled to Granville on the Manche Iles Express service and enjoyed a full day shopping in the wonderful Market, and in the evening joined the Granville Association in a dinner to meet M. Daniel Kerhouel, the newly elected Mayor of Granville The next big event in the Twinning calendar is the Jeux Interjumelages! These take place in Jersey this year hosted by St. Saviour at the Grounds of Grainville School on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th July from 10.30 to 17.00. Your support and encouragement will be very welcome as we look to retaining the title! There will be food and drinks available so come and have a good day out. There is also a dinner on the 19th at the R.J.H.A. more details from Julian Bernstein 746353. We are also looking forward to welcoming Les Demoiselles de Granville to the Battle of Flowers.
